Thanks :) A lot of the guys in my shop who play, don't like Tippmann Guns and think it looks ridiculous...Because the money I spent I could have bought a higher end marker to play with...They won't think that when I am across the field dropping them...I still have to get my tactical vest, Q-loader, Grenade launcher, compressed Air tank, and remote line...Then it is over for them.

Ok, to answer some questions...I snipe when I have to, all the gear I have, I know how to use, I will shorten up my rifle sling when I play (Least I get it caught on a tree) I have become familiar with the stock postions...out far for snipping, and close in for firing on the run....

you probably would have been better off getting more useful upgrades
rather than cosmetic ones, but if milsim is your style then i give your gun an 8 and ur originality a 5... all those upgrades are basically in the same kit.... maybe after u finish upgrading it i'll give u a better rating... -------------  |

I never asked for ratings on my gun, but I guess thats what this board is I noticed that the Tippmann custom pro, is pretty much the same gun as the 98c except it is all electronic and has a nifty drop forward (handy) I won't consider buying one though, until I know whether or not I can put my BT parts on it. Oh if you go to http://www.rap4.com - www.rap4.com you can find rifled barrels for tippmann 98c's in different lengths...maybe that will be my next upgrade and I can move all the handguard and stuff over to it. That is a useful upgrade right? |

Hey, The barrel is pretty cool, it took me about an hour to get it adjusted right, the rail mounts were on the sides instead of top and bottom, so I had to find the right bit to get the set screw undone, and also the front sight assy. Haven't taken it out to play yet, will be doing that next weekend. As far as the sling goes, I bought mone from Walmart too |

Well, the one I have now does interfere with my sliding stock, but to alleviate that I just slide my stock back all the way, cock the gun and am ready to go, just hope I never have a malfunction in the middle of a fire fight Gonna try this one out first, then if I don't like it, I will try the new slimmer one.

You are my kinda player, i also am a fan of GRENADE Lauchers and lauchers of that sort. If u go on Tippmann Ordnance .com you will see that they have a Howizer, i would get it if i had the money but my funds are a bit low right now. If you want to see some serious firepoer grenade launcher wise, go to http://www.rap4.com - www.rap4.com and check out their's. Those are the most realistic and most evil paint slingin items I have ever seen....Esp check out the video....Don't waste your money on a big cannon...these are better and require less hassle. Can't wait to get me one. |
