Theres
no easy way to turbo/supercharge a car, you just have to spend the
money, and it would be worth it, on the right car mind you(no pun
intended). As for the turbonator thing, my bro came across it while
lookin for a new engine for my future car, and said all it is is a fan,
and doesnt nothing but waste $70 bucks.
You could also
look into an engine swap for your car, cause if might not be much more
expensive then just a turbo, plus, it would be a new engine.

get aftermarket exhaust my dad has flowmaster super 40s on his truck they are sorta loud tho and might be funny sounding on a smaller car but they do make models for smaller vehicles that wouldnt be as bad sounding on ur accord plus there are alot of aftermarket exhaust compnaies out there besides flowmaster and my dad got a 2-3 mpg gas mileage boost and about a 5-10 HP boost. it runs about 300 and if u dont wanna do that then buy a K&N permanant airfilter for 50 bux u never have to replace it again just wipe it down whenever u would normally replace it and that gives u a lil better gas mileage and also u get liek 1 more HP nothin much tho but u could by the K&N kit which replaces ur lines and hoses and stuff and its about 300 and ull get a good 10-15+ HP off of that plus about 3-4 MPG

Yea thanks for the tips john, like i said before not looking for a whole lot of speed and power just a little boost, it is a automatic so every lil but helps. Im not into the loud exhausts unless it has that deep "chug" sound, my mom has a flowmaster exhaust on her del sol and it sounds decent for a little four banger.

Get a flow master. If not, save money for a new car or some better parts.

Dont turbo charge a V6, supercharge it, you wont have boost lag, a supercharger works on a pulley, and a turbo works on exaust preasure. Supercharger=quicker boost. But either way you are going to spend some money on it if you dont want to kill your engine.

So what. As long as its got some horsepower and can get up and go. I like a 5.7 V8 just as much as a 2.0 turbocharged engin pushin out 350 HP

Stay away from these "cheap turbos." I read a post on the honda
forums where some idiot put one of these superchargers (it was nothing
more than a plastic fan) in his intake. The force from the air
flowing in made the fan spin faster than it was being propelled, and
the blades were sucked into the engine.
You could just get a cold air intake; I hear it adds 50
horsepower to the wheels! If you want to make an Accord fast
you're going to have to shell out quite a bit of money. If you've
got your heart set on forced-induction, then go with a turbo since they
usually net the biggest gains in horsepower (but they don't have the
low-end torque that superchargers have).

Theres an aftermarket part that you can get for the engine or something, all you do is put it on it or something, it increases horsepower and some other stuff. I forgot what its called, but my dad has it, ill find out and post it.

cold air intakes dont add 50 hp. more like 10-15. step dad has one on his F150.

Heh.. Not gonna get 50HP from a cold air intake. You MIGHT get 20 depending on the aplication. But its still a good buy for your car, get a cold air, headers, and a full exaust system, it will hustle, then and only then should you go for a force induction system. A supercharger will give you about an extra 100 HP depending on what all you do. But the rest of the stuff will help, but will not do much, your engine will not know what to do with it, so your gonna want a chip, or a computer to tell it to, thats when you will see the big big gains. Aside from the force induction.

In theory the turbonator does work on carborated cars. Acctually extremly well the point of it is to create a tornado to mix fuel/ air toghether and create a kind of vacuum. Now your car its probly a multi point fuel injection system which completly defeats the whole purpose of it.(there is nowhere that the gas an air mix before the throttle body. In an mpi the fuel is injected either into the end of your air intake manifold or directly into your cylnder.
now as for turbocharging your car, getting a smaller turbocharger with lower boost it will not be laggy like you could I think the name of the turbo is a greddy 25g its good to boost about 14psi. I would set the boost maximum to about 7-8 just to be on the safe side since your most likly going to be using stock pistons and rods. you would be getting a decent amount of power out of it. If you wanna go big though a greddy t3/t4 would boast about a good 25 psi into your motor... But you would need to do some serious engine work to keep it from throwing a rod or cracking a piston.
By the way do you know what number you engine is?

Without a large displacement engine, you'll never seen more than 5rwhp from an intake. But I guess you guys don't know what sarcasm is, or the common misconception about CAIs within the ricer community.
