Either the 98 is nearly free floating in the one piece fiberglass (or whatever it is) stock, or that is a digitally created gun. The bit under the scope looks like it's melted or something. There are no visible means that show how that big piece of plastic/fiberglass/whatever is attached to the gun. I have to see more and clearer pics before I believe this is real.

This probably sounds mean, and I have nothing against you, but that photo looks very edited to me. Sorry for the trouble if it isn't.

exactly, which pretty much makes the whole think look pretty fugly.

Need to hide the 98 better. So it doesn't look like a big think of metal with a 98 stuck inside of it.

how is that attached? i mean its a nice design dont get me wrong but if i had that id be afraid to use it cuz it looks brittle and fragile and it looks like its not fully attached to the gun and just kind of sitting ontop of it.

It's composed of aluminum, it won't be breaking apart any time. I'm pretty sure it's also bolted on well, though I agree it's need to be a bit more seemless.

Ah dang. From your other posts the process pictures looked so promising. But it kind of looks like you gave up at the end or something. I must say i have to disagree with the paintjob you gave it, looks like you tried to make a speedball gun, not very metalic looking like the actual model. The sight rail/handel looks horrible, i dont know what model or picture you were looking at when you did it but the model of the battle rifle does not have a slant up to the front of the rifle, it kinda makes it look really crooked. Other than that i think it is really on the right track but def. not as good as your other stuff.

The next ones will be more one piece. The will be a little smoother an da little darker in color.

The gun is held in via rails on the top. No kit because the gun is milled to fit.

The next ones will have a 9oz in the back stock under a cover and duller paint.

I can also put in any marker you like

I think it would like nicer with a dull black finish instead of glossy.  Keep it like the original 98 Color because that seems closer to the "real" battle rifle. Awesome job and I think it looks good in that you can tell it was a 98 custom keeping it in the modded appearance.

Whats the deal with the Covenant?  Why would a group of aliens mass produce weapons that cannot be recharged/reloaded?
