Right then, here's my Tippmenn A-5 MP5 mod with ups. I have a CAR stock
in the mail and I still need to smooth over the end of the barrel where
the suppressor and barrel fit together. (Everything done by me) Specs: Madman Spring Kit suppressor (modified airsoft H&K MK23 suppressor) weaver rail with light mounted on the bottum of the cyclone feed hyperstar bolt X-chamber remote line double trigger BSA Red Dot Sight polished internals trigger stop custom milled rear bolt for smoother trigger pull and cycle rate     ( I know the pics are not the highest quality. :/ ) -------------

That's really great. You get a 9/10 because there's not many performance upgrades. It's still awesome though.

I actually do already have a few barrels other than the stock one, but
the stock one is the only one short enough to look right with the
suppressor on it.

nice job on the gun... but it looks more lik an mp5k instead of mp5. Like how u put the mock threaded silencer.... does it even help a bit with accuracy?? ------------- check out Actionmarkers.com, like any of the guns??? pm me if you want discount. |

The barrel is slightly more accurate than stock because I polished it and gave it the teflon oil treatment.
To be honest I can't see that it helps much with accuracy as they advertise. If it does, it's not a noticeable amount. (edit: had a little talk with the authorities, had to remove the foam. >_>) -------------

hey,
before i would have upgraded to the regulator and sight i woulda first upgraded the front grip tho i also have an a-5 but ur right from a lil ways away it looks all bulky and smudged together but still next thing i would do to that thing is change the front grip cowboy out |

Man you really don't know your H&K guns well do you...This guy's gun does look like an MP5, he is still working on the stock. I rate it an 9/10 because it isn't finished, I can't wait to see it when it is done...BTW Paintbusta I noticed in a lot of your threads, all you do is talk trash....so you should just be "Buster" not Busta...Or maybe just punk. |

sliencers are illegal, in every way. legal nowhere. if you can make it
so it doesn't slience, while still keeping the look you want, i'd do it
if i were you. take the foam out if you can. we are talking jail time

That's incorrect... Firearm silencers are a controlled device under federal law. The U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) regulates the ownership and manufacture of a number of firearm devices including machine guns and sound suppressors (otherwise known as "silencers.") In the early 1990s, the ATF ran tests and decided that paintball silencers could be used to quiet a true firearm and they notified all manufacturers of paintball silencers that they were in violation of federal law. The reach of big brother was fast and final. I'm aware of the fact that silencers are illegal. What I have made
however, not only lacks the ability to reduce the sound level of a true
firearm, but it is also impossible to be attached to a real firearm as
it is built off of the actual barrel. (In other words, as soon as it is
removed from the paintball barrel it is no longer able to reduce sound
in any way.) The only way it works is on the paintball gun barrel. Not
only that, but it does not reduce the sound by any more than about 1/4
of the regular noise level. (You could probably wrap your whole barrel
in a thick layer of duct tape and it would have about the same effect.) (edit: Nevermind, it is illegal, checked with an authority about it. Removed the foam and now everything's fine.) -------------

THANK YOU! Since this gun was made to look like an HK MP5K, even the front grip is identical to the real one in looks, it sort of makes sense to me to actually do the finishing touches. The x-chamber sort of detracts from the illusion though, but there's not much you can do about that.
That's about where a magazine would be on a real one though. Too bad there isn't an x-chamber that looks like an MP5 mag. |

Ew. If it's MP5K you can't really run a barrel. If it's not MP5K you should have a stock. Sorry dude, but there's nothing that really says 'MP5' about this that isn't stock A5. The mods don't add to the look. Then again, I might be spoiled by owning an Ariakon. I'd reccommend Opsgear's new MP5 mag kit; it fits in the right place. Also pick up a folding MP5 PDW stock.
