hey, im absolutly new at paintballing, and its not that big yet over here in the UK, so im asking for advice

im thinking of getting at pro-carbine and was looking into getting a new barrel for it.... i read somewhere that lapco bigshot are good for accuracy, but im just wondering how to tell whether the barrel would fit the pro-carbine.

thanks for your time.

Pro Carbines have A-5 barrel threads. So just make sure the barrel you buy has A-5 threads. And yes the Bigshot is a good barrel.

It does. Here's a couple of pics:

Around the middle of the barrel, the words PRO CARB, F4, and A5 are etched into the metal. It tells what threads the barrel matches. Now, you have proof!

Hey!

Yes...the threads will work and barrel will fit in the pro/carb's shroud w/out having to modify it.

I know the 8" DOES NOT fit without mods to the shroud, or at least mine didn't.

Go for the 12" model.

Players who would rather put their barrel to your ear than spray paint from across the field!

Have you ever shot a 8" LAPCO Bigshot? It's actually only 7.5", and I rock it for a reason....it owns.

^Don't worry, from what I hear the extra 2" isn't gonna do anything but slow the ball down.

From what Colin Thomspon of LAPCO says, 12"(or his 11.5) is the optimum length for accuracy.
