hey everyone.  recently i had a post in here of my old A-5 pictures.  Now look at the beauty.  I did the paintjob myself in about 2 days.

My A-5

That's my a-5

  • response trigger
  • DOP double trigger
  • rear velocity adjuster
  • palmer male stabilizer
  • DOP bullet drop foward
  • I use 20 oz co2 tank plus sometimes my Compressed air tank. it's a small HPA tank, but im saving for bigger one.
  • DOP front grip handle
  • CAmo hopper cover
  • Custom products pewter 14 inch barrel
  • Flatline barrel(not in picture)
  • JCS offsight rail
  • BSA red dot scope

AND NOW a new PAINTJOB: RED receivers. I got every external nook and cranny on the receivers.  It was a very easy task that just took time.  I used a can of red spray paint used for metals, and a clear gloss for a finish coat.  I did 3 coats of red, and 2 coats of clear gloss.  i masked off every bit of internall with painters tape.  tell me what you guys think.  and some of the picture are not the best quality.  IN PERSON, THE PAINTJOB IS EXCELLENT. I'm so proud of what i did to my marker. you have to see it in person in order to see thew shine and beauty. it may be a little blurry on the computer.

And? way to state the obvious

The gun is great. The only part i would change is the drop forward, but if its comfortable to you keep it. The paint job did turn out well, but its not really my color. Good job on the gun though, looks like alot of effort went into it.

i just used some spray paint that was red. haha and a clear loss coat. you have to tape off what you dont want to get hit and you have to put multiple layers on.

ANd yeah, it's dead sexy. it's so hot.  haha.

I love it.

But hey it may look a little sh**** in the photos, but in person, it looks like a perfect quality paintjob.  it's because the camera can't get what human eye can pick up.  What you see in the pictures, you have to add a couple extra points to your opinion.  because it's better in real life.  But i will take off the hopper cover. i'm thinking i may paintball the drop foward red now to get a better color match.

thanks everyone for the good compliments. i really appreciate it.  and yeah i already took the hopper cover off.

And also i forgot to add this to my procedure.  before you start painting and put painters tape on, you have to use 220 GRIT sandpaper to smooth down the black stock paintjob.  you don't sand the original color all the way, but until it turns kinda of grey.

For the palmer stabilzer with co2, it works great. its the best reg for c02. it's good for the A-5, because it's adjustable all the way up to 900 psi.  Mine is set around 850 PSI which is ideal for the A-5. I know what pressure it is, because i used to have a pressure guage, and also i got used to adjusting it.  if the PSI adjuster screw is in the bottom of the reg about 3 threads, then it's running around 850 PSI.  but overall, it works great. it sort of works as an expansion chamber as well.  i had one problem where an O-ring inside the reg broke. I knew it broke because there was air leaking form the safety hole on the side of the reg. I took the parts out of the reg, and sure enough it was a o-ring.  i replaced it, now it works great. If you use it with c02, you have to make to oil the insides of the reg.  You can do that by putting oil in the asa, and shooting your gun a few times.

BUT Thanks everyone.  the pictures look alright, but in person, it seems more shiny and alive. it sort of looks blurry and smudged in some of the pictures. but what the heck, its all good
