Hey guys, first game of the season this past sunday. And while my 20.oz
was only half full, I used TWO full 12oz tanks in TWO games. And I dindt
even shoot close to a full hopper between the two games.

Could this be an bad interal O-ring or something, is my velocity way to
high??? Or could I just have had some bad air?

I have an expansion chamber and I usually can play the better part of a
whole day on 1 20oz tank. So this has confused me.

I play woodball, and I more of a supporting player, good on assaults and
with covering fire.
But Still, there is no way I should have been using that much air that fast.

I was thinking of spring for one of those parts replacement kits and
changing out my internals etc.

Any advice would be appreciated.
BTW, I dont hear any leaks when I have the tank on the gun.

You have a leak. You will have to start checking all connections and see where it's coming from. Check that it's not coming out of the barrel when you aren't firing. Disassemble, clean, and oil your gun first checking all o-rings for wear and nicks. When in doubt replace the o-ring (an o-ring kit is only a few bucks).

Thanks man, I was pretty much planning on doing that regardless.
But it just sucked because it was first game of the season for us yesterday
and I blew through my air like nothing....

Still. I will do that.

Peace

I doubt its a leak without you noticing. Your sucking up liquid co2. Did you notice frost shooting out of your gun and it getting very cold during the day? This is caused by sucking up liquid co2 from the tank. The tanks about half filled with liquid co2 which turns into 100 times its volume into a gas. If you suck it up you loose many shots. Try not to point your gun down.

I saw some white "smoke" coming from the barrell but not an inaordinate
amount. and as I said, I have a expansion chamber so things should not
be like that,

Also it was really nice out weather wise, about 70 degrees.

I am still going to replace the innards.. Hopefully that will address the
problem.

I was debating that too Trigg. But I went with first game of the season and was betting he had some beat up o-rings dry up and finally go over the winter.

So I should try to avoid pointing my gun down at all????

OT

Whats the deal with Direct Feeds or Power Feeds.. do they actually help
cycle the balls faster into the gun and prevent jamming?

Just curious? I was thinking of ordering one.

it could be a SLOW leak, where the gas is co2 gas not lquid and doesnt create frost

^ I think he would notice a leak. And even if it were a very slow leak to the point that it is inauditable, your tank probaly wouldnt be empty for more than a day.

Try to keep your gun up so liquid doesnt cycle through, or get a remote, anti-siphon, or just put your tank vertical. Expansion chambers only slow down liquid, they dont eliminate it at all from entering your gun.

Power feeds help a lot and load faster than direct feeds. With a standard direct feed, some of the gas that escapes around the front bolt blows the balls in your feedneck up. A powerfeed eliminates this.

I know you yourself didn't fill the tank, but when you fill CO2,it freezes, so you have ti let it warm up a bit and then continue filling it
