i was wondering how exactly the anti siphon insert works. ive seen pictures, but how do you know for sure that it will always be pointing up to suck in only the gas.  do you just screw in your tank all the way and mark it so you know how to put the tube in or what? also does it make a big difference with the rt?

Have it installed by a tech if your not sure, its unsafe to put them in yourself if you don't know what your doing, people have died from the tank being put back together incorrectly and being unscrewed from the valve and shooting off.

I remember there was an arguement on here way back about if it actually helps or not, if I remember correctly the tank is only 33% full of liquid co2 and the rest is gas, meaning the valve is sucking up the gas and not the liquid anyway. Makes sense to me but I'm no tech and I'm not even sure if those numbers are right.
