Back in the day mine was around 100. You might want to go soon cause they need to fit you and have it sent. The earlier the better, or you might get the last one on the rack.

Call around. My city might be more expensive. My tux had lots of accesories and so you might find some for cheaper. Call and ask for estimates and see when you need to get your fitting done by. Maybe where you live it is more laid back and less expensive.

Good Luck and rmember to have fun!

Dont drink and drive!!!!

You can drink but dont drive

I got one for my sisters wedding and it was like 75$. It was a nice tux. I went for a button tie. Button ties are the best.

I've rented 7 tuxes for 5 proms and 2 weddings (yes I know I should just buy one...) and paid anywhere between $85 and $115 depending on the accessories I needed at the time. The ones I've reserved for the wedding are $105.

Just a piece of advice, pony up a little extra for the square toe shoes, if you're renting those as well. Your feet will still hurt after a night on the dance floor, but nowhere near as badly.

My dues are $60 for seniors and juniors, and $30 for sophmores, freshmen, and thoes that do not attend our school.  My tux is around $120 ish.  I don't remember.  Yeah Stealth, you may want to get on the ball about that tux.

Yeah just mabye, I'm getten paid this monday so I can see what kinda cash I got to work with, If all else fails, I'll get a shirt and coat thing from a local seller, Since I already have the shoes and pants... My date does'nt realy care about what i'm wearing so as long as I look the part at least a bit i'm good...

I dont realy have the cash to go drop 80$ on a tux.. So this is a kind of difficult situation to say the least..

All depends on how much I get for this job over the weekend.

Damn prom is expensive as hell.... 42$ just for the tickets, figure like 15$ at least for dinner, 30$ for flowers.. then what ever the heck I end up droppen on what i'm gonna wear.... Dear god.

I think my tux rental was like $150. Thats canadian tho. But yeah, prom can be rather expensive. Lets see...i spent the $150 on the tux, $50 for the ticket, $50 for a limo to go there, and about $30 for that flowery thingy...the corsage.

Almost all of our dinners together we split the plate of food... Hence the 15$

Here was my train of thought...

I could have rented a nice looking tux for $150-175 bucks, and have it once.

But, I went ahead and bought a suit (Suit jacket, Suit pants, button down shirt and tie) on sale for $275 bucks. Now I will always have a suit for nice occasions. Not to mention a suit is a great multi-tasker. Switch the button down and tie and you practilly have a brand new suit.

I thought I looked pretty damn sexy.

(Im on the right...just making sure)

God damn, prom is cheap.

My junior prom was tonight, but I didnt go, because I'm a loser. Junior prom is $100, and senior is $200, plus pictures and limo and stuff.

Jesus. My Senior year the tickets alone was $180. Pictures were another $100. I saw the girl I took not too long ago and she has a kid now. Glad it isnt mine.

If I wasnt so lazy I could drag a pic out and scan it. Highly unlikely. Since they are packed away in the garage and I havent seen the scanner in a while.

Hey!

You're forgetting the limo(average 5-6 hundred for about 6 hours...for a decent limo), booze(at least 50 bucks worth), box of condoms(12 bucks and you better use them!!!), and a hotel room(don't go below $60).

Screw the stupid prom where you just stand around and sweat your ass off in an F'n tux that's been worn by who knows how many people, and maybe participate in the occasional dance.

Just take the limo...cruise around...get hammered...make a pitstop at the Super8, get back to the limo, cruise some more...then drop her off and never talk to her again!

Naw...prom is expensive but you only get so many chances to go and it can be a lot of fun.

And if you're lucky, then the money is definately worth it!

Mine's May 14th.

Have fun!

It's my senior year and I'm way to poor for prom...it is 125 per person, plus picture money, friends that are going want me to chip in anotehr 125 for a limo, and afterwards another 135 or somewhere around there. So I decicded to not to go to prom and go to six flags instead with other poor people...lol

Got my Tux ordered, Got the flowers ordered, Dinner money, Plus extra money in my wallet, And I got the nice Black/Chrome 2005 Winstar for prom night instead of my POS Caravan. I'm still not entirly certian how everything came together like it did... But dear god it did.

I'll post a pic of me in the tux somewhere around thursday or friday.

:::EDIT:::

And to make it even more 1337, The Tickets numbers on my tickets = 100 and 101.

I'm still in my junior year, so I can't go to Prom yet; our sister school, however, does allow their juniors to attend the dance, so I was invited.

I was invited yesterday, that is... five days before the dance. Now I have to scramble for a tuxedo and reservations. The whole situation is ridiculous—I had no idea that I was even going, and now I have bill of about $150 or more hanging over my head. How dandy...

Limo's here are cheap. It's stupid, one of the limo services is cheaper than the taxi's (taxi's are massive ripoffs here) But the drivers are jerks, and wont let you close that window thing and such. The limo's in vancouver are just...*droool*

And just buy a suit. It's a good addition to any wardrobe and good to have for special occasions in the future.
