Yes, I believe Timmy's arent the wisest choice for the price. Go for an Ego, or a pribate label shocker, like th Dark Shocker.

I own the Alias and it is IMO one of the best guns out there. Its extremly light, fast and reliable. Its definitly worth the price. To me there is no way a shocker..not even a dark shocker or a Ego is anywhere near as good as an Alias Timmy. You don't really need to get any upgrades for the Alias the only thing you really might want to change is the barrel and get an adjustable ram cap. Other then that the Alias is great stock. Anything you want to know about Timmys PM me or check the second page of the "great guns thread" in this section of the forum. I posted a whole big thing on Timmy tech stuff.

thanks, and are you other people me? Do you like the exact same things that i do? I have shot a timmy before, a ripper, and was the best thing i have shot.

I think that my heart is set on the timmy.

Also, my friend said i might want to replace the reg.

Meh DM4/5s are real good when the eyes and membrane pads aren't taking a dump on you. Three guys on our team had them and all three had constant problems. It was unbelievable that such an expensive gun could be so incredibly unreliable. Go with the Timmy.

2 guys on my team have timmys and they never work. In fact, they are selling them. But I can't talk because of my autococker....

Most likely they didn't know how to use them. As long as you lube the ram, bolt, and poppet the gun will work fine unless it happens to be a reject from the factory.
