My firend and i like to play paintball over at his house with bunchh of our buddies.  Its great fun he has a huge wooded back yard.  We always have plenty of paint. but what limits our game is the amount of CO2 we have. A local paintball shop rents out tanks of Compressed air real cheap.  My Question is, is there anything special needed to use compressed air instead of CO2? Is there any downside using comp air?
i have a Standard 9oz CO2 Tank and a tippmann model 98. If any other info is needed, i will provided. Thanks in advance.

A CO2 tank will not work with compressed air.

Buy a bigger C02 tank for longer play or buy a Compressed Air tank, but dont mix the air that is going in the tanks.

just buy a bigger c02 tank or get a HPA tank.

DO NOT fill a c02 tank with HPA or vis versa its dangerous.

Just get a larger Co2 tank. A 20oz will last 1000+ shots.

if your going to continue to play paintball in the future, which it sounds like you will be, then upgrading markers is   inevitable, higher end guns are designed to be run on HPA, and your tippmann will perform alot better with HPA versus CO2. i would invest in a nice HPA tank, crossfire and nitro duck are what i have owned and they are great tanks. as far as HPA goes, i would reccomend a 68/4500. if u have any more questions about hpa just drop me a pm.
