Ok then I'm wrong, atleast you backed it up unblike people like prodigy and dune Although my idea was on track considering back then blacks were treated as lesser, and so thinking one as being a pope back then didn't seem right. I'm not a racist/bigot, blacks are fine as pope, i'm just stating back in that timeframe it would have been weird -------------

Back then christianity was not widespread. So a lot of people practicing the religion were people of color(black, middle eastern), the white blond haired blue eyed christians of europe hadnt arived on the scene yet. But there hasnt been a black in the inner sanctum of christianity for some time. Also, there is a small percentage of black catholics as well. The new pope gets to choose whatever saint name he wants to use. He chose the name Benedict. 15 other popes in the past have chosen the name benedict also. Which makes him the 16th. -------------

yes, I would judge someone who took part in Hitler Youth, not because of their choices but because of their education. The Hitler Youth was obviously very anti-semetic. Jews were openly critizised and harrased by teachers and students in classes. The main draw of Hitler youth was things like their glider clubs and such, while brainwashing them into Nazi machines. Yeah, they may not have chose to think the way they did, but as you may know, indipendant thought was not a good thing in Nazi Germany.
Again, the things kids learned in Nazi youth is nothing but evil.... not a good thing for a powerful man. and he's uber conservative, which is stupid too... |
