Tolgak,

         Never said I ditched it!

I just finished restoring it, at one point back in the late 80's, my whole team had these same markers.  It's an Enforcer I - no relation to the Enforcer pistol available today. The barrel is 16 inches from the feed neck - accurate as all get-out.

The Ion is a pure backup, only to be used if the 4/5 are not working, found to bounce in tourney's, or otherwise unusable.

For woodsball, I have an A-5 with solid MP5 stock, coiled remote, flatline, and RT - a very decent woodsball setup.

Mike,

      I got the CP from Paintball Wizard ( http://www.paintballwizard.com - www.paintballwizard.com ).

Thanks for the comments y'all!  I love the Enforcer and I now having working as it did when I first got it.  As it is made of brass, I spent a load of time polishing it and lubing it up again.  It came as you see it and was never annoed black like the also-brass PMI I. It came with a right-handed grip, like some target pistols have, and a 40-round ammo box (huge for the time!).

I stopped using this when the original SL-68 and SL-68 II came out and I switched.  I eventually went to the 68-Special and the Enforcer went into storage for years.  The really sad part is that my whole team had them and as we upgraded markers, these were put by the wayside and I'm sure more than one ended up being sold for scrap brass!!  I should have bought them all from my team!

Thanks, guys for all the great comments, I greatly appreciate it!

Regarding the Ion, I like it a lot.  For the money, it’s a great gun that is within an affordable range for newcomers and intermediates. For those that may already have speedball guns, this makes a great backup right out of the box.  Cleaning it is a bit of a chore, though – I can’t lie about that!

For the one pictured, I replaced the duckbill with a Checkit unimount on/off, a Q-Lock feedneck, and a Freak barrel.  I already had the Freak kit and just got an Imp back for it.

Again, thanks to all who took a look and commented!

Pink Panther,

Hit me up whenever you want to try the DM5 or the Ion at Canobie – Seriously, It’ll be no problem to meet you there so you can rock some games with them!  I’m about 20 minutes away.  I use a Halo B and a Dye 71/45 peanut tank with them.
