i made the classic mistake and stripped the valve ports where the really tiny screws on the right reviever half go in.  Tippmann sent me a new valve that got here today after 3 days free of charge (hats off to their customer service).  Does anybody know how to dessasemble the valve and put the new one in without screwing anything up? I need instructions before i play again. Thanks

Open the gun. Remove the SteelBraided hose out of the old valve. This might be tough, due to the Loctite, but you should be able to get it off. Second, remove the 2 bolts in the middle of the reciever on the right side and remove the bolt, and replace the new one.

Did you get a new valve assembled or just a valve body?

First take your gun apart and take out the powertube/valve with the SS line. Remove the SS line. Now get a pencil or wooden rod and push very hard through the skiny part of the PT untill a silver thing (valve) pops out. Now put the new one in and reassemble everything. Be sure not to strip those holes again, and use Loctite. Your done.

If you ordered just a new valve body, continue reading. Once you take out the old valve youll need take apart your old valve and transplant the parts into the new body. Follow the instructions carefully here- http://www.model98.net/tts1.html - www.model98.net/tts1.html

Hey dude, ive got the same problem...well with my advice its not a problem...

Just leave the screws out, you dont need them...

When you shoot your just pushing the valve into the power tube, where it should be.

Just cover the holes up with electrical tape, or gaff tape!

^^ you sir, are an idiot.

the screws are there to prevent stress on other parts of the gun (like the air hose and air fittings.

Just have your proshop do it. It will be free/cheap. Hogans alley does stuff like that for free if you are @ the field
