OK I got a model 98 and am looking to get a reg...I want to get a male version regulator for my gun. I know I have to get a VA.

I know a stabilizer is the best for c02 but its also 40 bucks more than a torpedo.....does a torpedo do a good job at regulating pressure with co2? Is there a big enough performance difference between the two to justify spending 40 bucks more for the stabilizer?

Go with the stabilizer. It's specifically designed for CO2.

The torpedo reg does work with co2 but the Stabalizer is better for it.
