Not in the slightest way. Its just as durable as a Tippmann. It wont fail on you.

The only problem I had was when I first got the marker. The R/T was factory installed. It would work fine as long as you had a full CO2 tank. After one hopper it would not work. Of course when I took it back to the shop the owner would attach a co2 tank and it would work fine. Then back on the field same problem. I finally found out that the o-ring at the top of the pistol grip that connects to the R/T tube in the upper receiver had a small nick in it. You needed a magnifying glass to see the nick. Once I found a replacement, I haven't had a problem. I use white lithium grease on that o-ring to insure it reassembles easily.

Mine is great. It just freezes if i shoot and liquid co2 gets in there.

The only problem I have read about them is the small tube that goes
from your valve to the piston behind the trigger breaks sometimes, but
that's pretty easy to replace, just call Tippmann and get a free one.

The only "weak" area would be the microline that goes from the powertube to the piston. It's just your typical piece of microline. No weaker or stronger than that used on thousands of other markers around.
I have broken part of my powertube, but that was pretty much my own clumsiness with a wrench.
