If I want to run my stock 98 custom on compressed air can i just go and grab like a 68/3000 HP Air Tank, screw it in to the ASA and get rolling, or do i need a vertical adapter or kits or other stuff like that?

you just need the tank.

A gun is not a weapon... It's a tool. Like a butcher knife, or a harpoon, or...uh, a...an alligator.

But keep in mind that the only airflow regulation you will have is the velocity adjuster.

The secondary reg is not required. I've run mine on hpa for awhile without one.  If you need one the B L Torpedo is good and half the price of the stab. It won't take co2 though.

you can just screw your tank in and play.  Just make sure it is a high pressure tank ( 800 - 850 psi)

CHeaper normally means less shots per tank.

To calculate around how many shots per tank you will get times the CI*X

for 3000psi tanks, x=10
4500 x=15
5000, x=20

so if you have a 68ci 3000psi tank you will get 68*10=680 shots.

As everyone else...plug and play.  Regulators help greatly, but are not necceseray for use.

HPA is more versitile than co2. You can use HPA in anything but you cant use co2 in everything.

Ive got one on my 98 with no reg and it works great.

1 of the guys said high pressure tank, what they ment to say
was, a HIGH PRESSURE OUTPUT, a HPO n2 tank gives off
from 800-850 p.s.i. a low pressrue out put tank gives off 400-
450 or so p.s.i.

i have an aim 68 reg. It's the same as a topedo except cheaper.  It really doesn't do you any good. I have it on my trix and it's a piece, but i'm not really into shot to shot consistency.  Yeah just use the HP tank and the velocity adjuster.
