| ok so the screws on my 98c are a bit rusty. bought it used not in great cuometic shape. anyway few years ago i bought that stuff on the tv Zap. noe if i use it on the bolts ( it uses phosphoric acid to eat away rust i think) will it damage the paint on the screws? i really dont care about the the paint will it screw up the (hmmm cant think of the word) little grooves that go into the other litttle groove thingies ( oh ya sportting the 3rd grade vocab here) thing the screw will be alright? |

You are asking if you use a rust remover if it will damage the threads on the screws? Go the the hardware store and by new ones, they are just screws. Its not
like Tippmann is the only one to have screws that exact size. -------------

If they are rusty clean off the rust and paint them with Rustolium, or buy new SS or regular screws. -------------
