Has anyone heard about the 98 Custom/cyclone feed conversion? Does anyone have pics, or a reliable source? Is it true, or rumor?

I'm not going to call the hospital, because you won't learn anything if I do.

Someone a while back posted where I think he did it.  There was a thread a while back that someone showed how there was supposed to be a cyclone feed for the 98c coming out in July or something.  Search it.

wwwwweeeeeeeeeellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll............. .... the cyclone is technically faster than any electro hopper. but since a tippy cant reach, say 25 bps, it isnt. kinda

Technically, your wrong. The cylcone can only reach about 18bps before taking a poo.

cyclone isn't the greatest feed system out there, but i mean... for under the price of some of the better hoppers out there... it will sell.  I have a feeling it will sell a lot.

I haven't been able to get that Warpig page from this link, or another from a different forum.

edit: Can someone hotlink it? Right click the image, then select properties. From the properties menu highlight the url and paste it with the [img.../img]

I did see the pics of the 98cyclone. Could i buy a cyclone for my 98, or do they only sell 98 with cyclones. Also how much would one cost separate.

Buy an electro feeder, cheaper and works alot better. Although, the Cyclone looks way better in my oppinion

The Halo B with the rip drive works almost the same way..Easyer to put on..Just plug it on..Going to be getting that for my 98 Custom.

Edit:

The A-5 can reach 15+ rounds per second..If you actually put the Cyclone on the 98 Custom..I wonder if you could pull that many.

^ Yeah but all those take batteries, So in the long run your saving $$ if you get the cyclone.

Plus you get alot less chops from the cyclone than any other hopper.

Last time I checked The halo B was well over $100.

Considering the Cyclone will be around half of that the cyclone is a much better buy.

Dumb huh?  Let's see... a typical electro hopper is noisy and if your batteries die they suck.  On the other hand a cyclone runs on exhaust gas and never stops working until your gas runs out, or just before it does in the case of my A5.

My only concern is the micro supply line has to flex to flop the cylone... I'd be worried it would wear out quickly.  I'd be sure to have extra line for repairs.  This 98c system will allow the barrel to be cleaned more easily than on the A5.
