here's my M98c sniper...

loadout -
E-bolt
LP kit
Flatline
Thumb through stock (AR-15 product modified to fit)
M44L handguard with rubber sides(AR-15 product modified to fit)
Barrel extension (Opsgear product)
Bipod
Top carry handle with scope mount (AR-15 product)
scope
Front sight tower (AR-15 product)

To answer some questions right off the bat...

1) Yes, it does get heavy after playing all day
1.5) Yes, it is a little long, but not bad..
2) The handguard and stock I modified myself
3) All of the AR-15 parts are from www.cheaperthandirt.com and www.midwayusa.com
4) oh, and I am still working on a mag kit to fit...

Comments welcome,

Jochen

Probably looks, but if he took off the scope or whatever, he could AIM with the rail/carry handle.

I use a Canadian version of the M4 (Called the C7) and we take the front Iron sights off when we install our x4 scopes on them.

You still have your front iron sight.

It get in the way at all of your scope?

Must get raped if someone sneaks up to you..because you can't use the iron sights well..Unless you're a skeet like me. Then you don't need sights. Just need to know were the end of the barrel is

Nice gun though..Looks like our Canadian issue C7.

I usually don't let ppl "sneak" up on me.. so, getting lite-up at close range is not an issue..

The front sight does not get in the way.. The iron sights on the carry handle line up perfectly with the front sight tower.. Sometimes I dont have the scope on, so having the front sight tower is useful..

thx for the comments everybody.. :)

I am not into the mil-sim markers but I appreciate your interest. Of the ones I have seen yours looks like you could actually play some decent woodsball with it.

I just got done helping my brother put a HK G3 stock on his pro/carbine, he got the spare for his CETME. It's still a work in process.

Why don't one of you proud Canadians build an M-1 marker? John Garand was Canadian. You could probably get a cheap stock at "Fred'sM14stock.com" and the sights couldn't be beat.
