The Night vision is actualy belongs to my boss, he is an avid hunter. It is on loan to me for the 28 & 29th. Pretty cool bos eh?

It is a Gen 2+ and it cost him about $3500 six or seven years ago.

I found more info on this web site. I am in no way trying to sell one of these and have no affiliation with the site selling this scope. Address post is only to answer a few questions posted previously.

phhht...hahahahahaha...oh man...okay....

sorry, i had to get that outta me.  It looks rediculous and pointless, but it will do you a lot of good in the 24 hour game during the night time hours...good luck man.

I just hope you don't take one to the night vision thingie...that would suck.

Of course I'll take it off during day. Has any one here ever played a 24 hr game? I have. The people with night vision slaughter you like sheep. I was at EMR for a 24 hr game about a year and a half ago and got owned by the Germans with night vision not fair I said. Not next time.

That is massive. And neat. Make sure it doesnt take a direct hit!

Actually, it should be fine even after a direct hit. Those things are designed to stay on target through grenade blasts and artillery, and from what I've heard, actually do.

Looks cool-and yes, you will slaughter people like sheep in the night. Beautiful.

I just ran some tests with the night vision scope. I shot about 100 paint balls at a wooden birdhouse (about the size of a head) that is on a pole about 25 to 30 yards off my back porch. You can actually see the paintballs flying through the air and hitting on target. Accuracy is terrific, better than I thought it would be. The only draw back is I'll have to get used to shooting with my left eye. The lapco mount sets it off to the left about an inch at a 45 degree angle. To get proper allignment I need to use my left eye.

Awesome, you can own the night. Hope you clean the paint off it before you return it to the boss

I would try to keep my eyes adjusted to the darkness and keep the scope covered most of the time you can.

To answer a few questions:

1. It's a starlight scope.
2. It is not from Vietnam.
3. It is Generation 2+. Vietnam Starlights were Generation 1.
4. I think these can be had now a days for about $1500.
5. My boss bought it a number of years ago for about $3500.
6. I don't plan on getting hit with a paintball in the starlight scope at night. If I do, my Job is safe, I am worth alot more than a starlight scope or $3500 to him.
7. If it is hit I'll clean it before returning it. Problem solved. It is rather sturdy and I seriously doubt a paintball @ 300 fps will hurt it.

you should look at OMHWs web site. they have a bunch of tactics on combating nightvision...

the 24hour game i played stunk. we all had to wear glow sticks around our neck so we had a glare on our masks. also they banned the use of flashlights so we couldent see anything at all. half way through the night a bunch of kids took off their glow sticks and started shooting (over shooting) people at close range.

Wow, hardcore woodsballer.
I have never played a 24 hour game, let alone a hour long woodsball game. But nightvision, on a pb gun, Sir, you have impressed.

Good luck at the game, and you better own up the night with that thing.
PS- Are you sure a little 47/3000 tank will last 24 hours?

Isn't just that the sweetest picture ever of David?

Is anyone else going to play in the 25 hr game on the 28th at EMR paintball park? They are real cool check their web sight out at http://www.emrpaintball.com/. They are located in NE pennsylvania near NY border. I have only been there twice but it was fun both times. They seem to have alot of speed ball tourneys on their schedule.
