This is it. I've had it, I will never buy a Tippmann made product again. Never have I had so many problems with one marker. Heck I've even thrown my BE marker at trees and its still undamaged. Tippmann uses cheap lowgrade plastics on alot of their parts. Those who say its ballisitics grade plastic should stop sniffing glue, it's eating away whats left of thier brains. I just recieved my replacement reciever for my A5 and again have run into the same problem. The cheap flimsy plastic has broken again, with little force this time I might add. I ephasize cheap because never have I ever seen something break with as much ease. I guess I should have just taken my money and used it for toilet paper. I would have atleast gotten some entertainment out of it that way.

I have a 98c as well. Bigger POS. I heard the A5 was better. Than again there are alot of stupid people in the world. I mean maybe they're decent.. unless you plan on actually using one.

I find it hard to believe that you broke the grip by putting the pins in. One time I was running around a bunker and my foot slipped, I stuck the barrel in the dirt (bad idea, I know) and put about 100 pounds of my weight on the grip and gun for about half a second, it never broke. The only way I can think off to break the grip putting the pins in is if you are hammering the pins in.

Hmmm sounds like its just you. Just last week I took a belt sander to my 98C and also a bench drill. The Marker held up just fine.
I've dived gun first on many occations, dropped it, and rammed it into the side of a car on consept feild. Didnt even chop a ball.
Sounds like either you have no clue what your doing, or just have really bad luck.

Grow up. You manage to be one of the only people to break something more than once, so you come on here and whine. It's not that bad until that point, but then when people who have not had problems express their product experience, maybe a little hotly, then you go haywire. You've done little to prove your story either.

Get pictures.

So I was messing with my A-5 a few weeks ago, and decided to make some cuts in the high impact plastic reciever halves. Thus I got out my dremel. I proceeded to break/wear-out 2 cutting wheels. I gave up. How did you manage to break 2 recievers with just the pins?

Do you even own an A5. You must not be very bright either. The heat alone from a dremels spinning blade would melt even the toughest plastics. Good Job with the exaggeration, maybe next time you should'nt be so obvious.

The crack in the fingergrip part and the missing part infront of the safety is from when I hit it with a hammer when the second one broke. This is the first reciever. The second one isnt quite as bad I repaired it with some super glue. It only crack, unlike the first one that completely fell off.

Pissed off after the second one broke. It was broke worse anyway so it didnt really matter. Better than throwing the gun your bashing it like some people might do.

Yep, I certainly do own an A-5. But I guess we can safely say that you know absolutly nothing about plastics there genious. Ever try to cut through a brass eagle grip frame? Yeah, I can show you pictures of it, and whats left of my dremel bits if youd like. Same thing happened to my A-5 reciever, which I threw away and ordered a new one. Good job with bieng an dolt.

i tell you what i hate my 98 it was good to me for a year and that was before i cleaned it at all (i was mad noob and i didn't even know about cleaning) then another 6months went by with cleaning before and after every game then comes winter and thats when my problems started. first, i thought it was just the winter screwing my air and paint. then comes spring, passes, and summer. probs still persist, it chops like a chainsaw. i've tried velocity changes and paint and whatnot, but overall i'm pretty fed up. but i'm getting more into paintball anyway, so i'm saving for an evil omen. and don't recomend the pimp, i know its better, i just don't have the money.

OK, genius as you called me. Yes I've seen what happens. I had to use a dremel to shave down my stock so I could even fit the reciever back on in the first place. It depends on what bit you use. Harder bits will just melt the plastic. Whereas if you us a soft disk it will actually cut through it.
