No, normally keyboards like to chew their batteries, savoring the acid as it tingles in their mouth. They will then casually swallow, allowing for at least 4 hours to digest. They rarely need to snack in between, so if it really is eating your batteries left right and centre, have it put down and try to find another.

I have the same keyboard and mouse. Yes they eat alot of batteries. Extra rechargable batteries for my keyboard and alternate them between the keyboard and mouse to keep them charged.

P.S. It's called the Logitech Wireless Elite keyboard

Yeah it would save money in all those batteries or just get some rechargeable batteries.

I've got a different Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, which they don't seem to sell anymore(I can't find it on their site, anyway). I change batteries every 1-2 months.

Well, theres your problem, you have a virus. It combined with the keyboard, makes 2 mouths to feed, therefore the batteries are being eaten mroe rapidly.
