Hey everyone..

Right now, i have a Tippmann A-5 with the setup in my sig. I was wondering what I should do. When i do play paintball, my local field has alot of rec ball courses and woodsball, then they also have an airball field and a speedball field. My brother just got a b2k4 w/ pds and it is shooting really nice. My friend is buying an orracle. We are thinking about starting a 3 man team, playing speedball, but also the rec ball courses. I have 2 choices, I can upgrade my a5 and try to make it fast enough for speedball by getting E-Grip/Nitro/LPK. Or I can go for an ion/B2k4 w/ pds, maybe even a WGP Prostock? Anyone have any ideas?

it either the b2k4 or the prostock.

I personally like prostocks more...but you have to put money into them.

Of course, you could just not care about accuracy at all, then you could go for the quantity over quality gun.  however, if you do care about accuracy, then get a prostock, even if its still meck you can easily get around 9bps.  Sure its not 15bps, but you can still compete without getting your ass handed to you.

If you want help with any of the autococker stuff just pm me.

ICD = Sux.

The freestyles are good.  but id rather have a matrix than a freestyle.

Just go with the prostock...they're awesome.

Get an Ion. I wish they were out when I got my 'cocker, 'cause I would be shooting one now. They may not be ball-on-ball accurate like my 'cocker is, but they put out an accurate enough stream, and they're very fast. Also small and light(but my 'cocker is that too).

Now if I can just sell my 'cocker and buy that Viking.

I guess im gonna try to sell the a5 then, and put money into a pro stock. Does that sound good for woods/speedball? How does the pro stock do without e-blade? What upgrades should i need? Thanks in advance

well, i wouldn't reccomend taking a cocker woodsballing...but thats entirely up to you.

The first thing you should always get is a barrel.  A .693 CP classic is what i have on my prostock and its great.

Then get a bolt i have a CCM all derlin, great bolt.  After the bolt id reccomend a reg.  I have a CP reg (im a cp whore, what can i say?) and it works really nicely, i can get about a case off of a 45/4500 fill.

Then ungrade your three-way.  No suggestions on that.

Last upgrade should be making it an electro gun.  By the time you have all that stuff on your mech cocker you'll have enough experience and play time to know if you even want to e-blade your cocker.  Im in that stage right now, its really tough.

Have fun with all of that.  And PM me if you have any questions.

What about the super stock? I don't know a lot about them, but they are around the price of a B2k w/pds.

Superstocks are alot more expensive than a b2k4 w/pds. The b2k4 w/ pds is about $300 right now.. Super stock is around $600-700 if i remember right.
