Okay, I've played speed ball for about 6 or so years...maybe a little bit less..but anewayz I've alway's played cockers. I've recently gotten into woods ball. I was wondering is a they're gun that can do both types of games well. I was thinking maybe a A-5 with a Freak Kit and a E Trigger...?

That is what I would reccomend. An A5 w/ Egrip and Freak Kit would allow you to play both woodsball and speedball with little problems. It's a durable and reliable gun, so you should have no problems with it.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

E-gripped cockers work well for both.

An E-cocker would deffinately be nice, and you can get an E1 blade for $225-$250 now. Less than what you would spend on an A-5.

Heyya!

Well, any gun can work in both. Heck, I played with a Phantom in woods and speed and held my own (nothing great, but I was an average player and got mad props for using a pump).

Autocockers work well for both, though if you plan to take a dip in a lake (Hell's Survivors), then any E-gun would have problems.

Good luck!

Yeah, going through water with an electro is a bad idea, but they'll work just fine in the rain.

And yes, pump players get mad props for playing the way they do, and it does help you develop skills-but personally, I just never liked paying as much for a pump as a semi.

Either a a-5, 98c, or automag

Heyya!

You really don't unless you put custom work into it. A Phantom will cost what, $250.00 for a stock class set-up? You got everything you need right there. Whereas, you pay $150.00 for an Electronic Spyder then drop in $30.00 for a new valve, $40.00 for a bolt, $50.00 for a barrel upgrade, get a regulator for $85.00, etc.

Then, the cost of playing. For a Phantom, look for 40 shots to a 12gr powerlett at $00.60/per. Figure you will 200-300 rounds of paint which is $12.00-$15.00/500 bag (and to use that much in an SC Phantom, you are going spray and pray!). Figure $10.00 for all-day air and at least $25.00 in paint...lot's more.

Just my thoughts.

Good luck!
