I've played with a superstock, and I really liked it. It feels good in your hands and is quite accurate. I really like cockers and prostocks are solid markers.

How do you like your bushy?

Your gun chops balls.

Heyya!

Best stock model yet, hands down!

There really aren't any neccessary upgrades for this marker unless you really want to make it a machine, and from the sounds of it, you just want to have it to have it and use it on occasions. So, for all purposes, out-of-box, all you need is a tank and hopper.

Good luck!

i really love it, its never let me down and im just about to get chaos and a pipe for it (the pipe has the same threads as a cocker) so that will make it unstoppable.  I dont kno if ur looking for a new gun but u can pick up one right now for $300 which is a steal.  Im kinda mad tho, because 2 weeks after i spent $500 for mine, the price dropped.

I'd get an Ion, I've owned a Prostock and their well okay if your primary game is woodsball get one but you won't be able to keep up in speedball since mech cockers are capped at about 11bps

Heyya!

Mechanical Autocockers are by no means "capped". In fact, they'll shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger. With proper timing and parts, they can be near-electronic (under 1mm pull).

As far as sticking to woods...not really. I can play effective speedball with a Stock Class Pump (I'm not great, but I'm not preforming any worse than the average Joe) so if you are a solid player, you can play with a slow gun.

And he stated he has a Bushmaster as well.

Good luck!

Well, FI isn't totally wrong, but the highest speed you'll see from a normal mech 'cocker is in the 8-9 BPS range. I've seen the Splatt Attack Revenge V3(built off an AKA VLM, and a ton of other custom parts) do 13 BPS, but there was only one ever made, and I believe the current owner bought it for $1100-$1200. They can have a short pull, but they aren't walkable with paint(trust me, I've tried it with half a dozen different 3-way and frame combinations), although it is really easy to set it up with just air. I do just fine with my mech 'cocker against people with Impulses, Intimidators, and Cyborgs at my local field. Last time I went, the last game we played, I got the whole other team(4 guys) out, and they were carrying 3 Impulses and a Cyborg. Just ran through and one balled all 4 of em. It's not speed that really matters, it's accuracy. Speed is just a nice thing to have, and allows you to make up for skill.
