I just got the RTS put in my 98C today because I had store credit
because my old flatline was acting up. The guys who installed it for me
were fooling around with it and they were shooting 21 balls per second. I was just wonding what was the most you've seen/done per second. |

Are you sure it was 21? That's a little bit too high for a response trigger.

A wider R/T hose will allow more air to pass faster and increase BPS.

i haven't checked mine with a meter or a chronograph but after i put
the lp hose and fittings on my stock halo b didn't keep up. i put a
victory board on, it has 6 feed codes. 1= 17bps, 2= 21bps,3= 24bps,4= 28bps,5= 32bps,6= 35bps. codes 1 and 2 i still chopped paint, but at 3 = 24bps i am good to go. at 5 = 32bps it started to push balls past the detent. so based on that i'd say i can get about 23 to 25 with good paint and the weather is not to hot. but also my rt ram cylinder fitting has been drill out and my hammer has been lightened and my stroke has been shortened, so that probably figures in the rof also.

marauder? and a grav feed hopper, and little 12 gram co2 cylinders??? 
i can shoot 8 without a double trigger on my mech 98, ima get a dbl finger trigger for my model 98, and a low pressure kit, ohh and to go along with it a Ford Ranger ------------- Real guns have gills. |

Actually playing with 12 grams is quite fun, it adds a new dimention to the game. Yeah, stock class paintball is very fun. Im doing (or attempting) a stock class conversion on my cocker. A pump kit, 12gram adapter, and 10rd loader, and t-stock are in the future. -------------

i can get 1-4..maybe 5 bps on my 98c with an AA 14", 18oz. c02 and nothing more than a grav feed hopper and a normal trigger -------------

The 98 is capable of blazing fast cycle times when slightly modified. I've bent up a few parts doing this. I've heard that the counters on field chronos arent accurate but I've pulled 24 bps semi-auto at Atomix. I have access to a shot counter and if I ever get my 98 repaired I'll do the high rate of fire mod and shot over the counter. |
