| Going to get a new gun but can't decide. Should i go with an Impulse most likely without the vison or the B2k with pds. I am playing speedball mostly and would like to upgrade the gun a fair amount eventually. Also do i need to replace the reg if i get a b2k or is that a BKO? |

The impulse is made of poor quality aluminium that strips easly. It also doesnt come with an Lpr stock which makes evauntualy soleinoid overpressuring a given, Its larger, heavier, and slower than the b2k4 stock.

Heyya! Ion...the Ion is like an Impulse, essentially. Made for the same market (low-price, high-end promises which deliver high-end preformance in the barest form...it's fast and that's it). Anywayz, the Impulse is a decent marker. The solenoid may not overpressure since it is modified, but it is true that it needs some upgrades to make it high-end. Just like a stock Autococker. Outcast, Black Magic, and and Orr-Acle are decent, no real need to upgrade unless you want to make them machines. The Prostock is high-end, again, in the barest form. Let me put it this way...in paintball, regarding markers, you get what you pay for. Simply put, no company has found a way to make a high-end gun for $280.00 (BKO, Autococker, Wrath, Ion, etc all fall short). Good luck! ------------- Rawr... |

hahaha wow that is just flat out wrong. b2k4 over an impulse, trust me. B4 i bought my bushy, i had the same question and searched for months till i got an answer i was happy with. Besides looking like a brick, the trigger on an impy sucks and isnt very ajustable. plus u get a whole bunch of features on a bk4 that u dont on an impy. o yea pink panther, try comparing an ion to a bko, not a b2k last thing, i commend u for not getting swept up in the ion fad. ive seen many and imo there just flat out ugly. -------------

Heyya! Please do not mis-quote me. Add and read the entire thing. I stated that the Ion is like the Impulse in the price/type of marker catagory the Impulse was also designed to fill. I made no comment about the operation, look, feel, preformance, upgradablity, price, etc, only that the two are made for the same type of buyer. | I'd say B2k4 over the Impulse, and an upped Ion over both. I've seen some Ions really ripping the fields in the hands of pros like Dynasty, as well as the guys who took 1st in Division II in Tampa earlier this month. Can anyone say that about the Impulse anymore, or the B2k4? |
