It would be great, you don't need that crap anyway if no one else has it. I wouldn't yell "HEAR LOOK AT MY EMP!" I would say something like "OK, five more seconds ..... ha ha sweet" 

I wouldn't use this nuke of a paintball weapon without written permission of all players within it's range. Also we would only play in a giant conductive sphere that isolated and grounded all magenet fields/pulses within it's shell.

I thought of this as a weapon of mischief. Of course most diagree with it. My mind is set to think of anything that can give me the advatage in a game. Although this would't be fair, it seemed like an entertaining thought.

Ok, ok fine- Nickodemus, I'll sign the waiver and play with you and your EMP. I'll just mod my E-grip with copper mesh, and you can blast your EMP all day and she'll still work. There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Side note: You know, when i was building my compy I actually was considering making it EMP proof, just in case someone wanted to nuke St. Louis. Funny you should bring that up.

I didn't read the the paintball knife thread, but I do know that they use rubber knives with chalked edges in a knife fighting match. They keep score by the chalk lines.

It's an idea for something to consider... not meant to be taken too seriously. When I finish my EMP I do not plan on using it as a destructive device.

Getting "owned," puh-leaze. The purpose of my post was to develop thought in the area of introducing an EMP to paintball. The more high tech markers get, the more expensive and delicate they are. If you think that creative thought is a waste of time stay out of the paintball ideas section.

Hybrid- heh, relax. I've already made everyone aware of the EMP weakness. Copper mesh around the eletronics and you're set. Besides, he did figure out a pretty sneaky way. Just imagine if he wouldn't have said anything and entered a tourney and started destroying guns right and left. He could make the EMP pretty hard to find, and most refs have no idea what ElectroMagnetic Pulse is. Unless, they watched Ocean's Eleven.

Nicko, you might as well build a Tan Box, eliminate telephone calls, and fry anyone who tries to get within twenty feet of you. Just make sure you don't advance too close to the box.

It's a clever idea, but of course not very well liked. Kinda like the first time someone programmed their board with a cheater mode, or the first time someone went to a tourney carrying 200 paintballs on top of their gun instead of the 10 everyone else had in their tubes.
