Uh no. That is getting bunkered. Bunkering is something
that is most common in speedball. It's when one person runs from
their bunker, to the bunker of the opposing team, and shoots the other
player.

Bunkering is when you have some fat lazy duck who won't move from behind his cover, and you cannot find a cover to get to so that you may get a good shot at him. You bunker the duck when you dash up and do him dirty. If you are the bunkered, then that means your the fat lazy duck.
No offense to you husky folks... Just the guys with high dollar markers, that ramp up their fire and get off on spraying little kids at the rec field, while they never move from behind their cover.

Man, there are many, many professionals that are fat, lazy ducks
then. How ever did a fat, lazy duck make it that far?

Sounds like your looking to pick a fight. Before you bend my words understand that I am not talking about a rear man speedball tactic, I am talking about a person with a totally different mindset - spray and pray ego feast with no skills that gets bunkered. You must be a duck.

I did not bend your words in the slightest.
There are many pros that get bunkered. The way you make it sound,
only newbs with high end guns get bunkered and I was simply saying this
is untrue.
To answer your question, no I'm not a duck. I rarely play paintball anymore, but back when I did I was fairly aggressive.

I understand where you are coming from and maybe I should have been more clear so that you didn't take the slight oppertunity to misinterperate me. But on your point: I am refering to a particular type of player that ends up getting bunkered the most. Pro's get bunkered, because they have extremely aggressive players with that job. But on the fileds that most of us play on, bunkering is an option of last resort. I play a lot and don't remember the last time I got bunkered. I have bunkered others, but only because they gave me no other choice by playing in the fashion I described. Most fields have a 15' minumum distance for shooting or something like it. The refs will let you get closer - the rule is there so that you cannot gripe when they eject you for taking it to far. If someone tries to bunker me, which happens very rarely, either I shoot them, my teamate shoots them, or they shoot me before they get their body anywhere close to behind my cover. It is the guys who tuck up into the cover, so they cannot see and give you no target, that get bunkered. However, they don't mind camping there with full auto until you start putting shots their way...
