My CO2 tank has a dent on the top of the tank and its about centmeter in length. Is that going to affect my gun performance, leaking, or any other problems?

IF IT HAS A DENT IN IT THEY MIGHT NOT BEABLE TO FILL IT, BECAUSE IT WILL LEAK AIR AND OTHER STUFF!! I WOULD SHOOT ALL THE AIR OUT AND THEN TAKE IT IN AND LET THEM DISCARD IT!!

Turn the capslock off champ.

I wouldnt screw around with a damaged tank. Just trash it and get a new one, theyre cheap enough.

A significant part of a cylinder's strength comes from its smooth round shape. Dents and deep scratches weaken the tank such that it may no longer take a full charge without rupturing. It is not likely that you'll punch a hole in the tank that will leak, but it is possible to damage the tank so that it explodes when next filled. The safety rupture disk is intended to blow when a mechanically sound tank is over-pressurized (sitting in the car in the sun). A damaged tank may not be able to survive to reach the safety disk rupture pressure. Take it to a paintball pro shop, a scuba shop or a welding supply shop and ask them their opinion of its safety.

You can buy a new CO2 cylinder for less than a hydro test will cost.

if you do decide to throw out your tank. Remove the valve first. Salvage the anti-syphon if you have it. It always helps to have spare parts sitting around.
