I thought of this, what if there was a marker like an angel or something with an extremely resilliant CLEAR plastic shell not fogged or anything wouldn't that be kinda cool? I mean supposing it worked? If done correctly the camo possibilities are nice as well... -------------

Oh wait correction I need the frame to be thicker and I need a 20"Lx20"Wx10"H It won't be 10 inches wide but I have cutting issues.... Maybe I could rob the NHL because any athlete that hasn't worked in that long is gonna suck nd I doubt they all worked ou and ran and skated and practiced bending their sticks and snapshooting and all that... -------------

As long as the plexi doesn't reflect light all over the place it's fine if I shroud the Eye area however I could just use a anti chop bolt and be done with it... -------------

Watch out for the plexiglass dust-not good for you respiratory system. Also, as said before, first time you take it out, it'll scuff, and you can't see through it anymore. Third, plexiglass isn't very good for screws. In other words, after screwing in/out any major screws(or volumizers, regulators, whatever), the tolerances won't be the same, you'll have a leaky gun, and eventually, they'll just strip.
Good luck, have fun...but it ain't gonna work. That gun Choop found is hot-first saw it on the mech 'cocker forum on PbN about 6 months ago. Thing is beautiful...cost around $1800-$2000 to make if I remember correctly. |

Use polycarbonate, plexiglass is a horrible material for this kind of thing, and you'll need a milling machine to do this, preferably a computer controlled 4 axis one.
First you need to draw the reciever halves in solid works or autocad, or something similar. Then once you've either A.) dropped 10 large for a cnc machine, or found a machine shop that will do this for you, have the drawings put into the machine and let it do its thing. hmmmmm... I could do this in the shop at school this summer in between working on the battle bots ------------- Smart Parts, Stupid People... I'm not sure what your tring to say, if your saying that because the shell is made of composite then somehow you can see through it or what but last time I checked metal and composite and the same level of opacity. But if you were suggesting and idea still wouldnt work because under the shell is an alluminum housing for the mechanics of the ion. -------------

I believe lucite might work if you used an lp HPA, and i believe it
would be better if it were an electropneumatic, not an
autococker. A dm, or angel would be your best bet

I could... and I was going to... but I'm making my nintendo frame for my 98 right now and it's awesome, so I'll probably not try this as I have limited money/time/nintendo parts. EDIT: After reading all of the reviews I hadn't seen if I find a resilliant and hard to scuff and scratch material that will contain the pressure I may try it, but that nintendo 98 is lookin so pimpin. -------------
