Your valve body was probaly stripped where these bolts go. These valve bolts hold in the valve body and keep it secure. It is a very common problem that people overtighten and strip these out.

You need to fix this, or your gun will not be usable. Youll probaly need to replace the bolts and the valve altogether.

If the holes are definatly stripped out you will need a new valve ($30) and new bolts (I think around $6 for two). If your still under warrenty it will be free. Call up Tippmann and ask about it.

No, one screw is no good (later anyway). I stripped out one of the screws a awile back and had only one in. At first it worked fine, but throughout the day it loosened up and became stripped. After it loosened my gun would shoot like this- 325fps, 210fps, 15fps, 0. This is because each time the valve is struck it is pushed forward more and more. It really sucks. And from the valve not being secure, there was lots of pounding on one bolt which later stripped it.

i agree 1 screw is not enough, if 1 was good enough tippmann would only have one on it
