Cheap paint+Flatline=inacurrate shots. Also turn the airflow that goes into your marker

I have the same problem. Stick a BB in your butt cap between it and your
tension spring rod.

that seems alittle od if the bb slips loose that will not be good for the bolt

Get a heavier (stronger) drive spring (the spring the pushes the rear bolt/hammer forward to strike the valve opening pin) Madman(I think that's the brand) makes a good spring kit. Also, going to a larger diameter paint will help, but fixing it with a new spring is best way to go. Make sure that one of the two valve body screws (right side of the receiver) isn't missing...loss of one will reduce velocity because of leaking gas)

With the heavy spring from this kit and large diameter paint I have hit as high as 450 fps. Couldn't get the marker below 295 fps until I switched to the medium spring.

This is essentially putting more pressure on the drive spring...exactly the same thing you would accomplish with a rear velocity adjustment mechanism.

Go on Google. Enter Tippman+Maddman+spring+kit. You'll find about 12 different online stores that have it. Price ranges from $8 to $14.
