I am completely biased on Scott Peterson for millions of reasons. I dont have a position on the death penalty because I havent figured out what I think about it yet. I must say that my thinking on it is way off base than the normal debates though. |

Haha, good, it means you're forming your own opinions. Truthfully, I use to be a moderate with a lot of conservative views. I also always believed that by going into law enforcement my beliefs would strenghten. However it did the opposite. I read more, interacted more with people, and eventually lost faith in religion and gained faith in humanity. |

It is amazing how time changes people and their perspectives. I remember years ago when the BSA kicked out all the homosexuals from the Scouting program, Levi's jean company pulled their donations from the scouting program. I remember being really upset with that and told myself I would never by Levis again. It didnt dawn on me at the time that a second cousin of mine who holds a high postition in that company who is homosexual might have not liked the fact that people like him were not allowed in the scouting program. When it finally dawned on me, I saw my ignorance.
My philosophy is basically treat everyone the way they are deserved to be treated... As human beings. Nothing more, nothing less. Whereever that puts me on the political spectrum or fills whatever label so be it. |

In view of equality i like the sight. The adds are subtle. Yet, to a homosexual, i bet they feel pretty good that their subculture isnt completely ignored, homosexuals are consumers too. Fords view on homosexuality is irrilevent in this matter. These people are getting their panties in a wad because homosexuality is displayed on a couple adds. They are advirtising to a specific market group. A market group that other auto companies ignore. My family owns a Saab 9000, a Volvo V70, and a Chevrolet Suburban. We buy our cars based on their performance, not based on the company's view of homosexuality...

What Ford really needs to do is spend its time and money on vehicle safety, not homosexual marketing. My boss just wrecked his truck today. How can you rear-end someone going 40 mph and the seatbelts not lock and the airbags not deploy? Fords obviously been thinking about the wrong "rear ending".

Airbags are not usually very effective after 30 mph. As far as seatbelts, my family almost always buys Fords, and in my lifetime I have been involved in four wrecks. Seatbelts worked just dandy every time. FORD ROCKS! Everyone says Honda is an awesome company and they never break down. Well my mother and sister both have hondas and have had more problems with that than either of my Fathers Fords and He has had them longer. Both F-150 trucks and between the 2 of them there has been a total of 3 problems across about 10 years. My mom has a 2003 pilot and my sister has a 2004 accord and between them there has been a total of about 9 problems. FORD>EVERYONE ELSE! |
