Anyone hear what Amnesty International is doing?
A Private in the US army, THE US ARMY, went AWOL like a little baby and ran to canada. The army demanded canada send him back, and canada 100% agreed. HOWEVER, AI decided to take up the case for the guy, labeling him a "Prisoner of Consience", starting an appeal that can takes several years. Am I the only one that thinks AI is overstepping their bounds? -------------

Bugg is right, JAG is a real military thing, but the show glamorizes it. JAG
people are actually crusty old military lawyers. Just like CSI is a real cop thing but CSI people are crusty old scientists. |

Heck yes they are. This is my 3rd time going through all 5 seasons. I just need to get ahold of the final episodes of season six of Sex and the City. That was a good show too.
Oz was great! Lots of Man on Man loving. I am also trying to get ahold of the Q.ueer as Folk seasons. Since when is that word editted? |

Although I am aware of a high number of draft dodgers' presence in Canada, it is still a relatively small number. I could be offended by this statement, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were over-exaggerating... times 10. Oh and I think the only exception for going "AWOL" would be Shell Shock/Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, which has been proven to cause serious medical implications, like blacking out. The number was something like 1 in every 5 soldiers have it. Yet I somehow doubt the guy was. ------------- Tenacious and Versatile |

I mostly watch FX. It has The Sheild and Rescue Me. Over There and SuperSize Guy's show looks like they are going to be good too. |

Well...good pont puma, they try to be a check, but thats not their job, its Congress' / Supreme Courts/ Pres job to do the checking, not some far left wing lawyer.

It rains alot down here. It seems in the srping it's always very nice, but not summer. Last year it rained for around a month. It was constantly on and off, but it was always cloudy. The rain puts you in a depressing mood. -------------

I am pretty disappointed at how the Discovery channel is dumbing down their programming with the biker show and Monster Garage. And I really hate how I watch those shows every time they're on, because I love watching that big guy cuss at his kids.
