Not sure if this really belongs in this section but it didn't fit anywhere else so I put it here. Now, everybody has been saying that the custom pro E is capped at 15 bps but if you look in the tippmann catalog, it says "trigger speed up 17 shots/sec". Does that mean that it's actually capped at 17 bps and that the ad where it says 15 bps was just misleading or was that saying something else? Can anybody with a custom pro E clarify? It seems to me that by saying that it should be able to shoot at 17 bps. The ad that says 15 bps doesn't say it's capped there either, it just says "for 15 rounds/second firing".

EDIT: http://www.countypaintball.com/product_description.asp?item=3574 - Here is the ad for those of you who haven't seen it. And http://www.tippmann.com/players/catalog/catalog.pdf - here is the tippmann catalog that has the ROF listed at 17 bps. Look on page 9 (in adobe reader or 15 and 16 in the catalog itself). It says it by the last bullet next to where it says "150+ ft effective range".

I've heard several people say 15bps.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

I know the semi is capped at 15bps (tournament limit). And I think the full auto is adjustable up to 15 as well. But the turbo and response modes are capable of up to 17bps.

Not sure, I just know. I mean its definatly 15bps semi because its the limit, and I could not walk faster and or go full on an A-5 E-Grip. And I have heard many times of people getting up to 17 on turbo.

Im pretty sure it has the same specs as the E-Grip which Im absolutly sure of.

Trigger usually knows his stuff, so I would'nt be suprised after digging around in the specs. you'll find that his info. is correct.

Alright, cool. What you said sounds right, I was just curious how you found out. Since I'm getting the gun soon I just wanted to know ahead of time what to expect. I like to know everything about the guns I use so at times I can obsess over little details and this one was killing me. Yeah, I'm weird like that. Anyway, thanks for the info guys.

Probably not even close to that fast because of the feed neck that goes to the side instead of vertical.

Well, if it was stock then that would be due to the heavy trigger spring. I played around with one at west point when they had it on display and I couldn't shoot it much faster than I could shoot my mech A-5 with a bunch of trigger mods. However, I could tell that the gun could rip with a different trigger spring and maybe a few other mods. The new spring costs only as much as the pen you rip it out of and it'll boost your ROF quite a bit.
