they are a curved mnetal tube off the valve in your tank and they help from liguid co2 getting into your gun. . .

most tanks that are new don't have one

Take it to your local proshop and have them put one on. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT install it yourself. Only a licensed air smith should do it. . .no one wants soccer moms to throw a fit and out law paintball after more co2 tanks explode/

The c02 tanks didn't explode. The tank was just unscrewed from the valve and shot off like a rocket and hit someone in the head killing them.

Wow.... How long were you been playing with CO2 before HPA?

I've been goin' 8 years and knew what it looked like three days ago... and now that I have ascended I will go buy a HPA tank.

Hybrid showed it there.  It just makes sure you gun doesn't suck up liquid CO2 and it only takes the gas.  You can get gun freezups(sp) and it won't function properly.

Or if you want to keep CO2 I would highly recommend getting an X-Chamber.
