I've shot .22(boring...), .223, 30-06, and every shotgun gauge around(well, the ones that are handheld, 10+).
My friend and I are currently arranging a business deal that would allow me to keep an AR-15 I buy once I turn 18 at his house, under his license.

Too many to list, but here's what I use most frequently/like the best.
Browning BT-99 12ga.
Winchester Model 52 Target 22LR
Mosin Nagant 7.62x54r
Colt 1911 in 38 super, nickel plated (totally sweet)
Mauser HSC .380 auto
AR-180 .223
And a totally getto Argentinian copy of a 45 colt, but it's still fun to shoot.
There are also countless revolvers, older military rifles, and 13+ M1 Garands.
Most of these are my dad's guns, but they are more treated like family guns. Anyway, my house is well armed.

Reb Cpl, do you shoot that .30-40 much? Where do you buy ammo at?reload?
My dad "came up" on a NICE .30-40 Krag rifle that seems like it was custom-made. The only thing it says on the receiver is "30-40 Imp.", and then it says "Spain" a bit farther up the barrel.
I personally own a single-shot .410 shotgun, Savage .22 Magnum bolt-action, Winchester 1300 " Black Shadow" 12ga., a Winchester 1100 "defender" 8-shot with some goodies attached, and an all-black Remington 700 in .270 Win.
The .30-40 honestly split my wig one time! I was shooting it like an idiot from a truck, and I just wasn't holding it tight enough, and when I shot it split my forehead wide open, and blood started streaming into my eye...it sucked.

30-40 krag story time....
My history teacher was explaining how those "fancy new winchester rifles" helped us beat the spanish in the Spanish-American war...he said "We had those quick shooting lever actions, while they were stuck with old muzzle loaders..."
I raised my hand, said "Mr. (gigglefuzz), We were armed with the 30-40 Krag bolt action rifle, from Norway...and the Spanish were armed with Spanish Mausers, and incidently, one of the first automatic rifles ever..."
"No, they had winchesters"
"You can see the trapdoor feed on the side of the gun in the picture Mr. (gigglefuzz)."
"Thats just a sling mount or something"
"My uncle hunts with one, Mr. (gigglefuzz)...I know what they look like"
"Thats insubordination, 50 minutes detention"
Luckily, hes wrong alot, and if anyone argues, he gives them detention, but the secratiaries just let me off...

No guns here. Not that I don't like 'em but parents won't let me. We also live in the city so it's a nice 40 minute drive to the shooting range so thats sucks. But when I turn 18 I'm going to save up for something nice, maybe AR-15,M4. Yea yea un-orginal but meh.
There is a american company that makes some sweet knives. Starts with S or something. Trying to figure out the companys name. These knives are like $200 and up. Made out of surgical steel etc etc. Anyone know the company I'm talking about?

They're wonderful rifles. My brother paid $150 for his, a guy was selling off a collection.
The ammunition we came by was at an old gun shop near me, a hole in the wall place. However, I think Gander Mountain carries it. They just opened one near me and I haven't had the chance to go there and check it out yet. It's a pretty good bet that you can get it through them though.

^Thanks for the info and quick reply. They are definitely good guns, especially for guys like ym dad who don't usually take shots much past 150 yards, and he's usually hunting hogs, so he needs the knockdown power.
I know the Krag isn't very high velocity, but it's kinda the perfect gun for someone like my dad...if ammo were more available that is!
I actually took down my first hog with the 30-40, it hits hard with 180 grain slugs.

I'd love to go hog hunting someday....but there aren'y many here in upstate NY.

This is what I have, Italics are upgraded/modified :
Rifles- M1 Garand (30-0-06), CETME (Win .308), SKS (7.62 x 39), Savage-Anshutz (.22L), 6.5 Carcano (6.5 x 54).
Carbines- Kel-Tec Sub 2000 (9mm Luger)
Shotguns- Ithica Model 37 (12ga), Ithica Model 900 (12ga)
Pistols- SAM 1911 (.45acp), Steyr S-40 (.40 S&W)
I want a high power bolt target rifle, but the ones I like are thousands of dollars so I won't buy one soon. I would also like an AR-10 lower and then an 50BMG and M-4 upper to go with it and exchange as I see fit. Now that would be an AR! I thought about putting together a tiny AK with a compensator and huge ammo drum since the assualt weapons ban is over and I can play with the cheap imports and shoot up my SKS ammo. However, I decided that I don't need to buy anymore for awhile.

They will get hard to find. You can get a real one for $500. You need to become a member of CMP and buy a service grade. Mine came in as a great shooter and the worst you would have to do is refinish the stock. Garands have forged recievers ! http://www.odcmp.com/Services/Rifles/m1garand.htm#Service - http://www.odcmp.com/Services/Rifles/m1garand.htm#Service

Garands are pretty awesome, as I said earlier my dad has 13 (if you include parts to build them that are just not assembled). We have many different varieties a special one that was used as a sniper in WWII with a flash supressor and scope, all original. Our most valuble one is one that has a matching serial number with another M1. For a while Winchester and the Springfield Armory made a mistake and made a few rifles that had identical serial numbers, we have one of those from Winchseter, and we got it from the CMP. Garands are great rifles and worth the money, if you can afford it.

Also, I have an old .22 and small pistol, which I haven't looked at in
so long that I can't even remember what kind it is. I'll try and find
it, but I have no idea where the thing is . . . .

I saw an M1 carbine in the Want ads one day. 600 bucks. I didn't have the cash and I cried.

I will go from left to right. First is the 30-0-06, this is the smallest caliber I would shoot at 1000 yards. Next to that is the Win .308, this is a solid killer out to 500 yards. After that is the 7.62 x 39, this medium cartridge is what most of our troops get shot at them, and is comparable to our narrow flatter shooting .223 that is fired in the AR-15 military rifles. This includes the AR-15 derivatives M-16 and M-4. The AR-10 has a Win .308 chambering. I wouldn't trust a 7.62 x 39 or .223 to have enough energy to be a one hit killer past 300 yards. All three of these rifle bullets in the photo are 7.62mm in diameter and considered .30 cal. On the other side of the paintball you get pistol bullets. I would not expect to do much with these past 100 yards. First is the .45 ACP and next to that is the .40 S&W. Both of the ones in the photo are hydra-shock hollow points, so they look a little bit shorter then the normal ball ammo. Right of those are the 9mm luger and .22L bullets. I consider the 9mm a cap gun bullet - people survive getting hit by these all the time so long as it avoids a critical organ. The .22L is a great cartridge for target practice. It is quiet, comfortable to shoot, and match grade ammo is cheap. Don't underestimate the .22L, the bullet is small and fast.

Again, Nick shows off the cool, useful side of himself.
Those guns rock. I totally agree about the 9mm, that stuff if just fun for plinking. Real pistols are in .45. Most people do find 9mm's significantly easier to shoot than a .45 though.
Hmmm...must get pictures of me at the camp range sometime.

Yes I do. It's mandatory here.

Meh. I'm not sure whether I like Tazers more or less. It certainly puts you at a disadvantage should you pull it rather than a firearm, but it's non-lethal properties seem to be very effective, and not nearly as lethal as the media has been trying to make them seem.
That said, I can't really see me buying one, although it would be good for home defense.

It's most effective for officers. In a fight, the officer is not supposed to be matched up with his or her opponent, he or she is supposed to be one up. Therefore, the taser works very well from a decent distance.

Makes sense. I just figured if someone was carrying a firearm, it could be nasty. Do you carry both on duty? I assumed you only carried a Tazer, not a 9mm too.

My best friends mother is a Sherrifs Dept., and she, while in the training and what-not, took a hit from one. She says its like getting a cramp in every part of your body, you just freeze up.
Shes used hers a few times in service, mostly against unruly drunks who decided to start charging her. She says those are the reasons she likes it, becuase other wise she would have to either beat the guy down or pull a gun on him. The Tazer seems to be a more effective way of making them stop.

It is much more effective. People are very afraid of the tasers, they are a better deterrent as well.

Good man.
Yeah, I agree that the Tazer deffinately makes some parts of being a cop significantly easier. It would suck, even with the right training, to have to go up against a drunk guy.

We carry a lot of stuff on our belts. Sig Sauer, taser, Asp, radio, 2 pair of Asp Handcuffs, minimag flashlight, 2 extra magazines, keys.
It's a little heavy, but you get use to it, kind of like the vest.
Off duty I carry one gun.

Yeah, I figure. Those are heavy. Or it might be the plastic ones, which obviously wouldn't be heavy, but those aren't really handcuffs, just bracelets. Also, what's an Asp then?
Either way, that's quite a bit of gear.

Yeah, my brother just told me that.
So Asp handcuffs are like extension baton handcuffs or something?
I assume a monadlock is some sort of Asp, but I'm still a little bewildered by the spelling of that word(heck, I think I just spelled a word wrong anyway...).

Asp is a manufactorer, so is Monadlock. Asp happens to also make handcuff. They both make nice batons.

I saw an ad for a standard handcuff key that fits on your rear belt loop and your belt threads through it. It looked like it was a flat piece of stamped steel - very discreet... Imagine how troublesome that could be for unaware cops if they suddenly became poplular. Sure they search your body when they cuff you, but Hank Earl Karl killed I think 4 poor officers after he used the key on his necklace.
