Alright guys heres what I got. Down at the woodsfield I play at every weekend the field manager who I've know for around a year is selling his Imp. I love Imps however I got a WDP 04 Speed of ebay. . So I put it on the back burner until I found out he would willingly trade for a Tippmann A-5 and lucky me I've got one. However heres the things about it good and bad-It has been W.A.S.'ed, ball bearing cp trigger, it had been used and abused and that's putting it lightly (for instance he was telling me how he got so angry he threw it into the woods ), It's an early model with the tapeworm and horizontal max flow installed by him later on, and I did get to dry-fire it a whole crap load (worked great), he also just had it checked by a local proshop that I know of very well.

So what do you think? Another think that's really got me a little concerned is re sale value. Right now A-5 resales are pretty darn hot. But with the discontinued Imp and it's now younger brother the Ion on the market it's resale looks to be pretty pathetic.

Please if I am wrong in any of these areas offer me your opinions.

Well, personally I would trade the A-5 for the Imp.  I am currently in the process of selling/tradeing my A-5 and am finding rather difficult, but I have not put it on Ebay yet (a last straw).  I am looking for an Ion or an older trix, but would gladly trade for a WAS'd imp.

Anyway, that's just my 2 cents.

IMps were great guns for their time, but now they are just big heavy gas guzzelers.

If you play back, they are good becasue of the speed, but if you play mid or front, you're screwed becasue of weight. I just sold my Imp for an ION. I love my ION

Yes I do agree with you. But I mean there still a good marker for the price granted however I would rather have an Ion. I mean I also have my Speed but thats more my tournament marker this would be like my backup and woodsball marker. Not to mention its wased for christ sake. Maked out at around19bps.

WAS'd Imps don't have a max theroticle BPS. As fast as you pull the trig/hopper feeds, thats how fast you can shoot.

But who needs more than 17 BPS in recball anyhow??
