Hey for one I would like to say County rules and i just bought...

bob long miniguage 1200 psi

palmer stabalizer, female

plamer stabalzer mounting rings

2 County paintball stickers

Well, I was going to buy the plamer stabalizer kit which comes with the female palmer and mounting rings($89) I wanted to see what kind of advantage I would have over buying just the two seperate parts, it turns out I saved $2 from buying the two parts seperate rather than together. Is Mike trying to trick us into paying more by making little kits?

With the $2 I saved, I was able to get the 2 stickers. YAH

Its easier for a dumb buyer who doesn't know what hes doing, to just buy the parts together in one package.

But still, county>*

Meh, I find their prices to be high, and their selection to be inadequate, as well as their descriptions and pictures to be pretty infrequently updated. That's why I don't buy from them.

That said, from what I've seen of County on this forum, the place is outstandingly well run.

I still probably wouldn't buy from them-I'd go to Brady's if I needed a part that I could only get online, as their selection is huge.

County is the best, if you ever have problems with the shipper (ex. UPS) and they lose your $650 package like they did to me, I just emailed Mike and he was on the phone fighting with UPS over it with in 5 MINS !!!!  Other websites are so corporate that I would just have gotten the run around for weeks and would be out $650

its only $2, holy cow...   are you that much of a penny pusher?

Sure mike is $1 or $2 more but hell your getting thee best Customer Service around!!!

Ask Milkman of how "good" some other companies are.... you'll know in the end when you order from Mike your getting the best.  If mike doesn't have it or cant carry it, dont even bother buying it.

heh...

I'd like to see Mike make those millions, but... In a way I like how things are going. He's big enough to where we dont really have to worry about him shutting down, but still small enough to where HE can still talk to his customers drectly, and not have like 80 representatives just sitting there.

I ordered a co2 tank and a siphon filter.  He installed the siphon filter in the tank for me, no extra charge.  Talk about customer service.

?

How did he pull that off?

was your marker like a M98?

Usally its not good to get pre-installed anti-siphoned. causes some problems.

  1. Tank can shoot off, and they would be responsible
  2. They dont know how the tank lines up, so it would be pointless to use Anti-siphon with the hose down.

County is the best site ever. It might not look like the other ones with all the cool images, but Mike knows how to satisfy his customers.

There ganna upgrade it, with a Wish list and all the goodies.

Not sure when it's ganna happen... probably before Turkey day, but after The County Cup season is over...

GO COUNTY KA-TET!   I know you can Beat AJ's Team.

Sounds cool. Can't wait. The site has been like that since I've been in paintball, so atleast 3 or 4 years.

Mike won't post in here. He owns a business, he needs to make money. Period.

Don't like how much he charges, go some where else.

But what other company can you contact via email or on this forum?

Here's my post. :)

I was reading about the anti-siphon tank and was wondering that myself. We don't install it unless we have the marker (or ASA) that it's going to be used on. If you're buying the marker (or ASA), tank and anti-siphon tube at the same time, just ask and I'll install it for you. I'd rather do it myself than have someone who's not experienced do it and take a chance on something being done wrong.

Anyway, as far as the stabilizer kits go, it's because Palmer charges us about a buck or two more for the kits than the parts cost separately. That cost just gets reflected in our retail price and if you choose to buy the parts separately, that's cool too.

As for stickers, if you place an order and just ask for stickers in the memo box at checkout, we'll usually throw in one or two, as long as we have them.

The website is outdated. I know it. Heck, I wrote it. When I first wrote it, it was pretty good because there was no industry standard at the time. Now the idea of re-writing it is overwhelming. I've purchased X-Cart but I have to do a lot of coding to get what I really want out of it. Free time to work on that and run the store is hard to find, so it's a slow process. I appreciate everyone who buys from me, despite my outdated looking website. The important thing is, it's still secure with encrypted checkout pages and all that. It just needs a better appearance and some new features.

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Mike
