If i got a nitro tank with a preset pressure of around 800 psi would it be worth the money to buy a regulator (like a palmers stabilizer) for my a-5? Also how much of a difference would it make?

I wouldnt worry about a reg right away!

I would get a fire power upgrade such as  r/t or egrip. Then a barrel first.

Then you would be lighten em up

yea i would worry about other things befor you start worrying about regs.  If you still have the stock barrel get a new one and get a fire power upgrade , then you can worry about a reg.

well yeah i already have a 14" Dye Ultralite, E-Grip, JCS duel trigger, and an r-5 hopper. i was just wondering the difference a secondary regulator would make.

i'd recomend e-grip and not r/t.  r/t uses more gas and e-grip will make it lighter and have a lighter trigger pull.  Also your friends probably won't call you mean names because they think the r/t is full auto.  Just don't tell them you have your e-grip on turbo

Well in that case if your going to use HPA I would get a high pressure regulator and not a palmer. Palmers are best for co2 unless of course your going to use both.  Then yes get the palmer.
