*>Kurt Cobain

I've got a friend who has a huge picture of him on the front of her binder. Obsession...

Not a big fan of grunge in general, but Nirvana was OK, and Foo Fighters are pretty good. Then again, I listen to music the same way I eat-try some of everything.

I don't get why everyone regards them as like the best band ever.

Pearl Jam is/was a much better band in my opinion, I like the Foo Fighters, from what I've heard, never really got into them, same with Soundgarden, except from a bit of what I heard from Temple of the Dog.

I never understood what w as so amazing about Nirvana... But now Kurt Cobain some sort of Martyr for killing himself.

Sound Garden isnt a band anymore. Alice and Chains is done now that Layne is dead, and Pearl Jam, who knows where they are....

Sure they were great in their hay-day but the music has moved on.

Pearl Jam is working on their newest album, and having broken away from their record label, we shall see how it works out.

Not quite sure what you mean by them pulling a Metallica, as they are still rocking as hard as in 1991.

The're too soft for me (hard rock and metal ), but i like their new single.

EDIT: And Nirvana aint that great, the're just ok. They only have a few good songs, i.e. S.L.T.S.

No, you're wrong. You were arguing that grunge is not dead. You then pointed out other bands carrying on after Nirvana and Cobain. However, Hades then stated all of those bands have fallen apart/sold out.

Well, first off, no need to call me names just for my music tastes.

Second, that is a borderline filter-dodge, so I got rid of it.

I am very unaware where you got "Overalls and stupid hats" from. Yes, I enjoy music from the punk scene, and thus am firmilliar with the styles of said scene. I do not recall ever actually seeing "Overalls, and stupid hats".

Also, You implied screaming. I enjoy older hardcore punk (Black Flag, 7Seconds, ect. ), I will fully admit. I dont really care for todays "hXc" hardcore though.

And finally, if screaming and throwing instruments down is bad...explain why you like grunge music again?
