what exactly does a direct feed do for me? is it worth getting? what is the best barrel that wont kill my bank account?

if you mean vertical feed then it gives the paint a more direct route to the bolt and a dye xcel for 45 dollars

i looked on the lapco site it said direct feed but its probly the same thing thanks

You might be looking at the PowerFeed. Only Rufus Dawg makes the center-feed so thats probaly what your seeing.

PowerFeeds are nice. All they do is eliminate your paint being shot upwards from the blowback giving you a slightly faster feed rate, and a great on/off feed feature. But they arnt very cheap usualy.

LAPCO Bigshot or JJ Ceramic are the 2 best barrels for the $$.

for centerfeed you need to make the thingy hole go across the top and make new holes for it to connect.
