(albeit they're music forums, but whatever). I'm sure that there are some musicians on here who can play well enough, and I was wondering if there'd be any interest in compiling a collection of songs recorded by forumers. The songs can be covers or songs written by the individual. It's fun to hear different adaptations of forumers' favorite songs. Even if (especially if?) they suck. Would there be any interest at all in doing this? -------------

Well, this is not the recording I made for the compilation, but I just
wanted to test my recording abilities before I did anything seriously.
Do you need higher quality on the recording? I don't have very good
equipment, by the way . . . . Oh, and the file is over fourteen minutes of me warming up and having fun. Since it took me forever to figure out how to record music to my computer, I'd feel happy if someone actually listened to it, even though it's not really anything special. It would be nice if you could up the quality a tad, but it's fine if you can't. After the first minute or so the quality seems to increase to the point where it's probably fine. I'm thuroughly enjoying listening, by the way. -------------

He doesn't need one to record electric, if that's what he has, all he needs is a 1/4 inch to 1/8 adapter and then he can plug it into his comp in the line in or mic in port. I say you guys go postal service and have a different person play a different insturment and send them to each other and create it that way, then have someone mix it. -------------
