It depends on the gun.  Most it won't do anything, but if you have an electronic gun, it will most likely ruin that.  It will also ruin an electronic hopper.  The paint will be ruined, and you will have to either throw it out or shoot it soon after that.  You'll also have to wipe out the gun and take the internals out and let it dry.

before the E-bolt, a guy On Tippmann Effect would take his 98 swimming with him.

You can take a mag swimming with you. As long as its aired up, it wont affect the gun at all. You could even fire it underwater.(i think)

u can play in the rain (if u have no electro) but the barrel is very inaccurate. and leave ur hopper closed so they dont get wet. but i dont know about completely submerged.

The inaccurate barrel problem can by solved by putting tape over the porting.

We could take some extra goggles down there with us, we might have to put them on with super glue or duct tape though

Im actualy thinking about taking my Mag underwater and shooting paint. But I would think the paint would break as soon as it were fired from the fast acceleration and heavy resistance of the water. I think I may try that this summer. If I do Ill record the whole thing.

ok thanxs. well i guess i'll use a gravity feed hopper. cause this field i like is called Death Valley. lol let me guess it's in a valley haha well evry1 goes up either the right or left side of the valley and no1 goes down the middle so the games get boring. lol i sucide rushed em down the middle and caught four of em goin up the hill then got lit up by the rest of there team. but theres a creek that goes through the middle and it has great cover from side of the valley so i goin to take 2 guys wit me to go up the mid in the creek

Common misconception- Tippmanns are not completely aluminum. The valve spring is fine, but the drive spring can fall victim to rust. Plus, this rust can mix with your oil and cause severe problems. Solution: clean it really well with Isopropyl alcohol after your swim. And change the oil.

Yes, but how do you change the oil? and where exactly do they put the oil filter in a 98C? LOL. You could also look into some sort of a dry bag.
