I'm pretty sure this is the first time I have ever posted it. This will be last of it also, i'm selling it and getting an Ion.  Stats: Revy with X-board Trinity Unimount ACI 68/3000 tank. Stock everything else. I never had enough money to upgrade it when i played. I stopped for a while, and now am getting back into the sport and able to get cheap stuff. So, with money at hand, getting an ion would be a smart move. -------------

Like i said before.... When i played with it, i never had enough money to up it, i had to buy paint and field entry ect...... And plus, i didn't have a job then. -------------

keep it... much easier to upgrade a cocker, then to sell it, and buy a stock Ion. Some mech cockers with the right upgrades and pwn ions. -------------

Nah, i need something faster than a mech cocker. Eblading it would be
around 175 bucks, so spending that much on making it electronic, plus
all the other stuff i would need, ram, bolt, ect, would not be worth it
in my opinion. I'll be playing mid. And we will be entering a butt load of tourny's. -------------

I'd say go for the Ion. It would be a pretty big step up from that mech cocker. Overall it's a nice gun. It would be better E-Bladed, but I know what you mean with money. That's why I have a stock 98c. Maybe I'll upgrade a little later. Just getting a new barrel maybe. I have something else I am looking into first.

Isnt that a Trilogy Sport 'cocker? I think it is, just with a little milling on it maybe... Id still rather a Cocker than a Smart Parts gun any day man... definately keep the cocker, better in the long run, especially if your a back-player. -------------

ive seen a ton of people selling there cockers on pbnation to downgrade to ions..i just dont understand my stock mech 04 prostock could prolly pwn a stock ion. i think the ion is just a trend, and it will pass over and noone will want one in a few months.r ------------- 98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. i agree with you 98. and metallica, just save money, and get a good barrel (preferably a kit) and then you're basically fine. a cocker with a good barrel will kill any ion any day and save you a lot of paint while doing it. you don't need to eblade it, that's really expensive i know. you can get good trigger frames that are adjustable and can help you shoot very fast. the cocker that i'm getting off of a friend will shoot 16 or so bps easily and it's completely mech. all you need is the right adjustments. in the future, also save up for a new bolt and some other little things. really, it'll all cost less than an ion, and be better. ------------- WGP orracle cp flame drop MACdev gladiator reg Evil pipe kit 68/5000 tank evlutionII w/zboard A-5 ultralite e-grip w/jcs duel trigger 45/4500 crossfire LPK,cp reg Drop forward |

i would have to sell my cocker which would get me around the price i
need. I mean, i want something faster. Slettec i see where you're going with that, but a mech cocker can not shoot 16 bps.....Maybe 10 at most. I need to just sell my cocker fast. -------------

hey hey dont upgrade it at all because if you do theres a chacne you
wont be doing as good as the ion. plus you can upgrade the ion and the
ion is a brand new gun and its really really small!

That said, e-blades rock. My friend just picked up one. Personally, I still love my mech 'cocker, but it just isn't what I'm looking for to play in tournaments. Great gun though. |

Someone tell me how selling a '03 cocker to get an Ion is a downgrade? To everyone saying just upp the cocker and it will "pwn the ion", think out of the box a minute... couldn't you just upp the ion then too?
