so a little while ago there was a rumor spreading that there was a new tippmann in the works. This was almost two months ago. Does anybody have any knowledge about this mystery. Is tippmann going to create a new marker, or was what i heard plain BS.

Give it time guys. They may have all of those guns ready for production but are waiting until custom pro sales drop before releasing them. It sucks for us but that's how you do business. If they released them all at once then none of them would sell at their full potential. If you stagger the release dates then everybody will buy the custom pro and then they'll all buy the next new one and so on. They make more money that way, we get all the guns they promised us, and they get more time to think up the next one while this happens. In the end it all works out, you just have to be patient.

commando, i get what youre saying but i cant help but begin to worry. This new marker rumor has been going on for a looong time, but on the bright side it was only a rumor. Tippmann made no promises or even annoucemnts so they didnt lie. However, a great marker rumor begins, the compnay is bought out by an investment corp., and they virtually re release current markers as a competively priced begineer kit. It can cause soem nervousness. Either way the truth is A5 Palyer, know one knows anything for sure; tippmann has been very secrective. All I know is I cant wait my whole life to see what they have in the works(altough it would be a good bussiness decision for them). Im buying a proto.

Well, the answers will come in time. Unless they decide to give us a little info on their plans (if any) we'll just have to wait until they release something.

Me and a couple budides of mine one time were looking into what type of guns tippmann effect uses. We searched google and an interview with one of the effect players came up. He said that tippmann was coming out with a totally new high end marker. He never said when. I imagine it will probably be more designed for the needs of a speedball player.
