I'm thinking about shelling out for the low presure kit for my M98, and I was wondering...

Other than making it more accurate and making it quieter, does it have any negative effects? Like if I use a LPK would it make the ball velocity slower, or does that just depend on the velocity setting?

P.S. I use C02, so if I get an LPK would a Regulator be necesarry?

No, your velocity will always be okay, provided you have a high enough input pressure.

You need a secondary reg regardless of what your air source is.

You will need a regulator, one that will be able to regulate CO2 reliably.

Using the LPK the velocity should increase greatly with an unregulated air
source, which is why you need the regulator to bring down the input
pressure and bring down the velocity.

If your gonna use CO2, I recommend a Palmer Stabilizer and an Anti-Siphon
for your CO2 tank.
