For an A-5 wat are the best upgrades that i should get that are highly needed. I have been playing for a little more than a year. If i go paintballin 10 times i mostly play woodsball about 6 out of those times so i was thinkin bout gettin a flatline and a longer barrel than the stock probaly a Lapco Big Shot A-5 Barrel - 14 Inch since it is prty cheap and i heard a good barrel. But wat are some needed upgrades for a 1st time user of a tipmman a5.

There is no upgrade that is highly needed. The stock A-5 performs greatly.

Play with your gun the way it is for ahwile. Get to know it. If you think it needs better accuracy get a new barrel. Better consistancy, get a x-chamber, regulator, remote, or hpa.

-------------
A-5
E-Grip
JCS Dual Trigger
DOP X-CORE 8 stage x-chamber
Lapco Bigshot 14" Beadblasted

Optional setup:
R/T
Dead on Blade trigger

if you "think" it needs better accuracy get a new barrel? forget that. get a new barrel. the stock one is the only flaw in the a5. it chops and chops. get something better. besides that, yea, stock a5 is awesome

That made little sense .

The stock A-5 works well however I recommend a new barrel for accuracy and you say you've played for a year so, I say a new barrel, a stock and a remote with a 4 pod and 1 tank harness. R/T Will help with faster firing, flatline alo gives more distance so it's a great barrel to have but for speed I don't know I don't know anyone that has tried it. Good luck.

Your post makes no sense.

First of all, barrels do not chop. Chopping is when the bolt splits a paintball in 2 because is is not fully loaded.

Second of all, The A-5's stock barrel's bore is huge. If you break paint in that, you have to be the dumbest person ever.

Lastly, Before you go tearing my posts apart, at least have a shread of knowledge about what you're talking about.

You WILL NOT break paint in the flatline because you're going full auto. How fast you're shooting has nothing to do with it.

 e-gripe e-grip e-grip e-grip

i had an rt on my old a-5 and it made it even more of a gas hog than it already was.  i was at a tourney today and a kid had an e-grip a5 with a stick trigger, and it was the nicest tippmann ive ever seen.  u can actually "walk" the trigger.  and its legall in all tourneys, unlike the rt.  still not as fast as my timmy, but pretty fast for a tippy.

all other upgrades really dont do anything at all unless ur buying a new reg/expansion chamber to "try" and improve the air efficiency

A low pressure kit isn't really need when switching to HPA.

Right. But for now right when he is starting out those upgrades aren't needed and it will be a while before, if he even does, switch to HPA.

I recommend a new barrel even i he did just shoot the gun then he should play for awhile, and by then there's something he hates about his gun so, he upgrades.

it doesnt matter on upgrades, but from what i know, it is IMPORTANT that u get consistency before speed. otherwise u will be firing 30 balls into the dirt and into the air lol
